About the role
We are looking for AI Conversation Recording Contributors to join an Afrikaans (South Africa) speech data collection project and help support the evaluation and development of the next generation of AI technologies.
Job Type: Freelance
Location: Work from home
Work Schedule: Flexible, task-based work (approximately 2–4 hours daily)
Project Duration: TBC
Start Date: Immediately
Rate: 8 USD/hour

This short project offers an opportunity to evaluate and improve speech recognition and conversational AI technologies by providing spontaneous speech collected from real-life situations.
How Your Recordings Will Be Used
The collected recordings, annotations, and related metadata will be used to evaluate the spontaneous speech capabilities of speech-enabled AI models. The compiled data may be reviewed for quality and incorporated into datasets used for research, development, testing, and improvement of AI systems.
