About the role

AI & Cyber Defense Full-Stack Developer The Opportunity:
We are seeking a full-stack developer to help build AI-powered cyber defense applications and agent workflows. This role combines hands-on prototype development with integration and support of existing production infrastructure. You will develop applications that connect security tele met ry, machine learning models, monitoring agents, and spe cia lized response agents. You will also help build the underlying agent systems, including coordination, event escalation, secure information sharing, and controlled response execution.

The platform uses a tiered approach, lightweight detection models, and smaller monitoring agents assess activity and escalate relevant events to more capable agents configured for investigation and response. These workflows should adapt as new information becomes available and operate independently within defined permissions. The work primarily involves integrating existing models, inference services, and security tools. You will collaborate with cybersecurity and infrastructure spe cia lists to turn concepts into working prototypes, evaluate their behavior, and support their progression toward operational use.

What You'll Work On:

- Build web interfaces, dashboards, back-end services, and APIs for configuring agents, reviewing security events, and managing investigations and response workflows.

- Implement coordination, task delegation, shared context, dynamic routing, and event-driven escalation between agents.

- Integrate conventional neural networks, anomaly detectors, and smaller monitoring agents with larger, spe cia lized investigation and response agents.

- Create isolated, reproducible environments for testing individual agents and multi-agent swarms using simulated incidents, synthetic tele met ry, and replayable scenarios.

- Connect model APIs, inference services, security platforms, and response tools.

- Implement tool calling, structured outputs, context retrieval, and validation.

- Develop messaging and shared-state mechanisms with appropriate access controls, credential handling, provenance tracking, and audit trails.

- Enable independent operation within defined permissions, with approval gates, execution limits, emergency stops, and recovery mechanisms where needed.

- Test escalation accuracy, response effectiveness, false positives, latency, cost, and failure handling.

- Provide visibility into agent decisions and supporting evidence.

- Troubleshoot integrations, maintain services, improve monitoring, and contribute fixes and enhancements to existing systems.

- Translate requirements into actionable tasks, document implementation decisions, and collaborate on code reviews and project priorities.

Join us. The world can’t wait.

You Have:

- 3+ years of experience developing full-stack applications and API integrations, including user interfaces, back-end services, application state, and relational databases

- 2+ years of experience developing, monitoring, or supporting cloud production systems, including troubleshooting application defects, data pipelines, and service integrations

- 1+ years of experience integrating AI-powered workflows into existing applications or business processes

- Experience in JavaScript or TypeScript, back-end development using technologies such as Node.js, Python, or C#, building REST or GraphQL integrations, and working with SQL databases

- Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as Angular, React, or Next.js, and event-driven processing, asynchronous workflows, and coordination between dependent services

- Experience developing sof tware using agentic coding tools, including using agents to implement features, investigate defects, refactor code, and develop tests

- Knowledge of application security boun dari es, authentication, authorization, isolated execution, and secure data exchange

- Ability to develop working prototypes, troubleshoot unfamiliar systems, and maintain existing production applications

- Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience with sof tware development, including back-end services, application development, system integrations, and performance improvements, or 5+ years of experience with sof tware development, including back-end services, application development, system integrations, and performance improvements, in lieu of a degree

Nice If You Have:

- Experience integrating LLMs with tool calling, structured outputs, retrieval, or agent orchestration

- Experience building multi-agent workflows, escalation logic, or shared-context mechanisms

- Experience working with security tele met ry, incident response, SIEM, SOAR, or EDR platforms

- Experience developing isolated environments for simulated incidents and agent or swarm testing

- Experience connecting lightweight detection models and monitoring agents to spe cia lized response agents

- Experience implementing protections against prompt injection, unt rus ted tool output, and unauthorized agent actions
