What you’ll be doing:
Join Lloyds Banking Group and be part of a team shaping the future of data-driven insight for Corporate & Institutional Banking (CIB) clients. As an Associate Director in Data Products Sales, you’ll help deliver Lloyds Bank Market Intelligence (LBMI), our aggregated and anonymised transactional data proposition, giving businesses actionable insight to support strategic decision-making.
You’ll handle a designated portfolio of client relationships aligned to our data strategy and lead the successful delivery of our Performance and Market Share franchise. You’ll see opportunities to generate income through tailored data and insight solutions, developing leads and introductions that support growth for our team and the broader Group.
Working closely with CIB Relationship teams, Transaction Banking Products and Platform teams, you’ll manage the sales pipeline from lead generation and pitching through to negotiation and execution. You’ll listen to client needs, translate them into clear requirements for Data Engineers and help deliver solutions that answer key client business questions.
You’ll also develop a deep understanding of data and insight trends, using evidence to identify sector themes and engage clients through thought leadership. Alongside this, you’ll lead, motivate and develop team members to help meet the current and future needs of the business.
Why join us?
We’re on an exciting journey to transform our Group and the way we’re shaping finance for good. We’re focusing on the future, investing in our technologies, workplaces, and colleagues to make our Group a great place for everyone, make change happen and challenge the status quo. Sound like you?
What we’re looking for:
- 3+ years experience selling data and insight products within a consultancy or similar commercial environment
- Proven track record of successfully managing end-to-end high value sales pipelines, from lead generation and pitching through to negotiation and execution
- Experience growing and nurturing senior client relationships with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels including C-suite
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and present clear, evidence-based and actionable insights through compelling storytelling
- Highly collaborative team player who can build strong, impactful relationships cross-function
- Strong leadership skills and people management skills, deputising for the Director when required, as well as coaching and developing junior colleagues
