Body Shop Technician

Job Description
Hall's Body Shop in Elizabeth City is growing, and we need to ad an experienced Body man / Body Shop Technician to our busy I-CAR certified collision center. Pay based on experience.

Summary:
As a Body Shop Apprentice you are responsible for assisting Body Shop Technicians in repairing damaged vehicle parts and bodies of vehicles in accordance with factory and dealership specifications and time standards.

Body Shop Technician/Body man Responsibilities:
- Repair vehicles per estimate and according to manufacturer standards
- Check parts against estimate and ensure proper parts are ordered and received
- Report any repair or timeline changes to management
- Operate all tools and equipment in a safe manor
- Understand, keep up-to-date, and comply with federal, state, and local regulations that affect body shop operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know, etc.

Body Shop Technician/Body man Qualifications:
- Experience working in a Body shop/Collision Center/Body Repair
- I-Car Training (preferred, but not Required)
- Knowledge of Vehicle construction
- Valid Driver’s License, with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years and ALSO no major violations in the last 3 years (DUI, reckless driving, etc.)
