About the role

COMPANY 🌱
RYZE was founded in 2019 by Andrée Werner and Rashad Hossain, out of a parents' basement, with a mission to change daily health, starting with the morning routine: a nutrient-dense mushroom coffee delivering clean energy, mental clarity, and immune support. Built on a Direct-to-Consumer foundation with a performance marketing engine, RYZE achieved hockey-stick growth and a community of over 1 million active subscribers.

DTC remains the foundation, but RYZE has expanded into mass retail, quickly becoming the #2 items in Target's overall coffee category and is now executing a multi-channel expansion, with a cross-category launch coming in early 2027. RYZE is uniquely positioned to redefine how people think about daily wellness.

We’re a lean, fast-moving, mission-driven team who believe daily rituals create the foundation for living your greatest life, and we’re just getting started!
WHAT YOU'LL DO 🎯
We need a versatile graphic designer who can flex across brand, packaging, and marketing. You’ll work closely with our Brand Creative team and collaborate across Brand Marketing, Operations, Regulatory, and Production — helping our visual identity and design come to life across every touchpoint.

You’re the designer who can go from a die-line spec to a presentation deck without missing a beat. You combine real technical chops with a genuine creative eye — comfortable with varnish layers and spot UV finishes as well as pulling together a compelling brand presentation. AI-assisted creative tools are already part of how you work.

Responsibilities will include:

Brand & Marketing Design

- Develop marketing assets, pitch decks, comps, presentation visuals, and other creative materials as needed.

- Ensure decks have a cohesive appearance — perfecting alignment, adapting existing brand assets, and elevating Marketing materials.

- Design and refresh brand materials such as inserts and pamphlets while adhering to brand guidelines.

- Help craft, execute, and enforce the brand visual identity across printed materials and digital assets.

- Contribute creative concepts for design exploration: mockups, graphics, layout directions, and concepts.

Packaging & Production

- Create and prepare print-ready packaging artwork files in Adobe Illustrator, including die-lines, production specifications, and finishing layers (varnish, spot UV, emboss/deboss, foil).

- Support packaging updates, revisions, and versioning across SKUs, keeping files accurate, clean, and current.

- Create and retouch photo-realistic imagery using Photoshop and generative AI tools.

-
Collaboration & Process

- Collaborate across Brand Creative, Brand Marketing, Production, Regulatory, and Operations — communicating clearly and keeping everyone moving.

- Use AI creative tools (NanoBanana, Firefly, and similar) to accelerate concepting and creative development.

- Maintain organized, well-structured working files that anyone on the team can pick up and navigate.

- Stay current on design and packaging trends and bring fresh visual references and perspective to the creative conversation.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

- Proven ability to design across formats: packaging, marketing decks, brand collateral, and digital assets.

- Strong experience designing for print production — die-lines, print processes, and production-ready file setup are second nature.

- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator and Photoshop.

- Proficiency in Figma, Slack, Google Suite (Slides, Docs, Sheets), and Microsoft Office.

- Familiarity with AI-assisted creative and image-generation tools (NanoBanana, Firefly, etc.).

- A genuine creative eye for modern design trends, visual storytelling, and brand impact.

- Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines independently.

- Strong attention to detail and a near-obsessive approach to file organization.

- Clear, proactive communicator who keeps the right people informed without being asked.

Core Compentencies

- Packaging & production design — Creates accurate, complete, print-ready artwork files including die-lines, finishing specs, and color callouts. Vendors can work from the files without clarification.

- Brand & marketing design — Flexes from a packaging comp to a pitch deck without losing quality or consistency. Keeps the visual identity coherent across every format.

- AI-assisted creative — Uses tools like Firefly and NanoBanana as genuine workflow accelerators — not novelties. Knows when they help and when they don’t.

- Cross-functional collaboration — Keeps Regulatory, Production, Marketing, and Operations moving by communicating clearly and delivering without friction.

- File discipline — Maintains organized, version-controlled working files that anyone on the team can navigate. Never sends the wrong version.

- Design trend awareness — Brings fresh visual references and perspective to the creative conversation. Keeps the brand’s visual language current and competitive.

- Independent execution — Manages their own timeline, delivers without hand-holding, and flags blockers before they become problems.

WHAT WE OFFER 🌟

- Competitive compensation aligned with experience and market benchmarks.

- Comprehensive benefits package

- Paid time off and company-observed holidays.

- Opportunities for professional growth and development.

- A collaborative, inclusive, and supportive work environment.

- Access to tools, resources, and training to support success in the role.
