Fanling North New Development Area, Remaining Phase:
Site Formation and Infrastructure Works

AtkinsRéalis Asia Limited invites applications for the following Resident Site Staff positions under the project for Fanling North New Development Area, Remaining Phase: Site Formation and Infrastructure Works (Contract Nos. ND/2024/07 and ND/2024/08). The works comprise site formation of lands and ground investigation within Fanling North New Development Area (FLN NDA), construction of at-grade roads connecting FLN NDA to Fanling Highway and associated junction/road improvements, construction of Fanling Bypass Western Section, construction of noise barriers and low noise road surfacing, and ancillary works including vehicular bridges, footbridges, footpaths, cycle tracks, lighting, traffic aids, sewage pumping stations, drainage, stormwater storage tank, sewerage, water mains, landscaping works, slope works and electrical and mechanical works. The first contract, Contract No. ND/2024/07, and the second contract, Contract No. ND/2024/08, commenced in August 2024 and December 2025 respectively.

Your role

- Taking up the roles and duties of the representative or delegate of the Project Manager, Supervisor, Engineer, Architect, Surveyor, and/or Supervising Officer as appropriate under works contracts as assigned by the Consultants*/Consultant*

- Site supervision and management of works contracts

- Performance management of works contractors and their subcontractors and suppliers

- Financial management and forecasting of works contracts and the project

- Programme management and forecasting of works contracts and the project

- Safety, quality and environmental management of works contracts and the project

- Monitoring of achievement of objectives, targets and key performance indicators of works contracts and the project

- Monitoring of compliance of various statutory and/or permit requirements under different ordinances/regulations for works contracts and the project

- Co-ordination and liaison in handover of sites, working areas and accesses for works contracts and the project

About you

Chief Resident Engineer                                                             (Ref No.: FLN_CRE)
Candidates should have:

- Corporate Membership of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers or equivalent in an appropriate discipline; and

- Minimum 10 years’ relevant post professional qualification experience; and

- NEC ECC knowledge or working experience will be advantage.

Remark

- Applicants may also consider to refer the other requirement of the above opening(s) stipulated in Appendix 7.4 of "Management Handbook for Direct Employment of ResidentSite Staff by Consultants for Public Works Projects" from the webpage of Development Bureau.

- The candidates should have minimum academic/ professional qualification requirements of the above posts.

- For RWSI and RWSII, a level of proficiency in Chinese and English Languages equivalent to Secondary 3 standard or above shall be attained unless otherwise recommended by the Consultant and accepted by the managing department for special cases with justifications recommended by the Consultant .

- Appointment will be made on contract term in accordance with the prevailing Government’s conditions and terms applicable for Resident Site Staff. The incumbents will be required to work irregular hours, overtime and shifts (including Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays) and to carry out supervision duties in Mainland China or overseas if necessary.
