The Contract Logistics Manager leads and develops the Contract Logistics organization at global, regional, or country level, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and business priorities. The role drives operational excellence, business performance, and continuous improvement by optimizing processes, enabling collaboration, and fostering a high-performing CL organization that delivers sustainable growth and customer value.

About the Job

- The Solution Design Manager function is consistently built around a defined set of deliverables that mirror standard RFQ response structure: a solution design covering operational overview, site/network and facility layout, technology and WMS fit, staffing plan and risk/compliance; a costed pricing model tied to that design; a project implementation plan; and supporting case studies and deviations analysis. The role sits at the intersection of sales, operations, network engineering and finance and is expected to defend both the operational feasibility and the commercial viability of every solution it proposes.

- Solution design and analysis
- Analyse customer data and operating scenarios to design optimal logistics and distribution solutions.

- Align the company's products, services and technologies to each client's requirements.

- Conduct customer research and facilitate solution design workshops with clients and internal teams.

- Propose innovative methods and technology adaptations that improve logistics processes and the customer experience.

- Design solutions for high-profile, time-critical projects such as major events, exhibitions and final-mile deliveries.

- Commercial ownership and costing
- Manage the full sales and implementation cycle, from solution presentation and costing to deployment.

- Assess and calculate the cost of proposed solutions and build cost worksheets and pricing models.

- Develop customer account strategies and value propositions that benefit both the customer and the business.

- Deliver against revenue and profit targets set in the regional Logistics & Distribution business plan.

- Implementation and project support
- Lead pre-implementation surveys to identify and resolve risks before go-live.

- Support Project and Program Managers with scope development, project planning and specification drafting.

- Oversee deployment and confirm that the agreed value is realised after go-live.

- Stakeholder and account management
- Act as the primary client contact throughout the solution lifecycle.

- Partner with Business Development, Product Management and customers to set objectives and align solutions to sales strategy.

- Maintain key account relationships, anticipate customer needs and resolve concerns quickly.

- Build and use networks with counterparts in Europe, the US and APAC on cross-regional projects .

- You are responsible for complying with the HWL Health and safety management systems policies and procedures.·       You are responsible for knowing your health and safety responsibilities as per the UAE health and safety regulations and complying with them throughout the duration of your work, not limited to:

- Ensure work equipment provided to workers is safety

- All critical risks are assessed and controls implemented before the start of the work

- All necessary Personal protective equipment (PPE) made available to workers during work

- The required health and safety training provided to the worker

- In addition to your specific job responsibilities, you may be called upon to carry out specific assignments by your manager.

About You

- Secondary:        Bachelor’s degree

- Experience:       Prior experience in the role is mandatory

- Professional:    Proficient in Microsoft Office

- Others:              Ability to communicate fluently
