About the role
As Copy Lead at FTMO You'd lead the writers who produce the words traders read: landing pages and web copy, the blog, educational content, product and trading content, FAQs and launch copy. You are accountable for content that is accurate, on brief, on time and in the right voice, and for keeping it current as products and rules change.
SEO analysis sits outside Content. Your writers turn SEO briefs into content, and you make sure the briefs and the output meet.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Lead and develop the writing team, with a clear owner for each product and each ticket.
- Own the written copy on landing pages and our website: structure, messaging, accuracy and conversion.
- Run the blog: editorial calendar, quality bar and publishing cadence, built on search demand.
- Own educational content such as guides, courses and e-books, with consistent structure, terminology and level.
- Own copy quality, accuracy and terminology, and update content when products or rules change.
- Run intake and launch work with Product, Trading and Ops: stable briefs up front, fewer late changes, fewer revision rounds.
- Turn SEO briefs into published content with the SEO team, and agree a shared calendar and metrics with them.
- Work with Compliance so copy for regulated products is approved the first time.
- Supply approved product messages that the Social and CRM leads adapt for their channels.
- Plan hiring, workload and freelance or agency use, and set career paths.
- Report monthly on business impact, not output volume.
WHAT DO YOU BRING TO THE TABLE?
- Experience leading writers or editors where accuracy matters, ideally in fintech, trading or another regulated sector.
- Experience using CMS platforms and uploading content to the web
- Experience using AI for content creation and analysis
- Track record owning landing pages, a blog and educational content, with measured results.
- A firm sense of voice, terminology and editing.
- Experience working with SEO teams and turning search briefs into content that performs.
- Ability to push back on unstable briefs and to work with compliance review.
- Experience leading a team across locations or time zones.
- Excellent written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus.
