Counter-Unmanned Systems Advisor The Opportunity:
Serve as an advisor supporting the integration of counter-unmanned systems capabilities in a complex defense environment. Provide strategic, operational, and technical expertise to help senior leaders evaluate and integrate capabilities supporting mission protection and operational planning. Translate evolving mission needs and technical capabilities into actionable recommendations for plans and capability decisions. Collaborate with operational, technical, policy , and partner stakeholders to align activities with organizational priorities and mission requirements. Support executive briefings, staff actions, capability assessments, and planning efforts in a fast-paced environment.

You Have:

- 10+ years of experience supporting military operations, joint planning, or capability integration in an operational headquarters environment

- Experience with counter-unmanned systems, counter-UAS, air and missile defense, force protection, or joint fires

- Experience translating technical capabilities, threat information, and operational requirements into recommendations for senior leaders

- Experience working in joint or combined environments and coordinating across multiple stakeholders, including operational, technical, and policy communities

- Knowledge of the C-UxS kill chain, including detect, track, identify, and defeat or neutralize functions

- Ability to communicate complex technical and operational concepts to senior-level audiences

- Ability to develop executive briefings, decision papers, and staff products under established deadlines

- Top Secret clearance

- Bachelor’s degree

- Graduate of a Command and General Staff College or Joint Professional Military Education Phase II

Nice If You Have:

- Experience supporting operations, planning, or capability integration in an overseas defense environment

- Experience supporting a senior-level operational headquarters

- Experience coordinating capability development across operational, acquisition, and policy organizations

- Experience assisting with developing or implementing theater-level C-UxS strategy, policy , concepts of operation, tactics, techniques, and procedures

- Experience with electronic warfare, air defense, or signals intelligence capabilities

- Knowledge of layered counter-drone architectures, including sensors, effectors, command and control, and battle management systems

- Knowledge of current unmanned threats, including loitering munitions, swarming tactics, and low, slow, and small targets

- Master’s degree

- Completion of Formal Counter-Unmanned Systems or Missile Defense Training

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
