Job Description:
Duties/Responsibilities
- Administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia and analgesia for scheduled, non-emergent pediatric orthopedic procedures and imaging under the direction and supervision of an attending anesthesiologist.
- Perform preoperative patient evaluations and, in collaboration with the attending anesthesiologist, develop and implement a comprehensive anesthesia care plan.
- Safely transport patients to and from anesthetizing locations and provide appropriate postoperative care.
- Collaborate effectively as part of the anesthesia and surgical team while maintaining respectful, professional interactions with patients, families, and staff.
- Provide safe, compassionate, and age-appropriate anesthesia care consistent with organizational standards and applicable regulatory requirements.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Current CRNA or CAA license.
- Previous experience working as a CRNA or CAA.
- Current ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications.
- CRNA Candidates: Current NBCRNA certification.
- CAA Candidates: Current NCCAA certification.
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, teamwork, and patient-care skills.
