DB2 / IMS Database Administrator

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a DB2 / IMS Database Administrator based in Canada.

We are seeking an experienced database professional to support and optimize mission-critical IBM Db2 for z/OS and IMS environments. In this role, you will help maintain the performance, availability, security, and recoverability of large-scale mainframe databases. You will collaborate with application development, infrastructure, and operations teams to resolve complex technical challenges and ensure reliable production services. Your expertise will contribute to database modernization, performance optimization, disaster recovery readiness, and operational excellence. This is a remote opportunity for a highly skilled administrator comfortable working in business-critical environments and participating in a formal on-call rotation.
