We're industry-only: every workflow, integration, and agent we hire is built around property management specifically, not bolted on from a generalist platform. What This Role Is About:

We are looking for a Debt Accountant to join one of our U.S.-based clients.

Your Main Responsibilities:

Mortgage Payment & Replacement Reserve Specialist

- Responsible for confirming all mortgage payments are successfully processed each month, via various lender portals (200+ mortgage payment each month)

- Prepare, compile, and submit qualified spend to lenders for reimbursement from replacement reserve escrow accounts

- Assist in the setup, maintenance, and validation of debt instruments within Kyriba (Treasury Management System), ensuring accuracy of loan terms, balances, and payment schedules

- Prepare monthly journal entries related to debt (DLC & MTM amortization, intercompany loans, accrued mortgage interest, etc)

- Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations for mortgage notes payable, accrued interest, DLC, etc

What We’re Looking For:

Qualifications

- Strong understanding of debt accounting, including mortgage loans, accrued interest, loan cost amortization, and intercompany financing.

- Ability to manage a high volume of recurring transactions and meet monthly deadlines with a high degree of accuracy.

- Proficient in Excel, including the use of basic formulas and functions such as SUM, VLOOKUP, and PivotTables

- Knowledge of replacement reserve escrow processes and lender reimbursement requirements is a plus.

- Team-oriented, proactive, and willing to take ownership of tasks and follow through to completion

- Must be based in the PHILIPPINES

Technical Requirements:

- Internet speed minimum 30mbps: Needs to be Wired (Buy a dongle if no LAN port)

- i5 11th Gen or higher

- Windows 11 / MacOS Catalina or higher

- Minimum of 8 GB RAM

- Private and quiet dedicated home office area (no roosters, dogs, children's noises in the background)

- Back-ups in case of power or internet provider interruptions

- Good headset and webcam (preferably noise-canceling headset)
