About the role
Do you want to use your understanding of electronic systems design to create innovative products that make a difference to people with hearing disabilities?
At GN Hearing, your work will support hearing solutions that help people engage more easily in the conversations and surroundings important to them.
As an Electronic Design Engineer, you will work across the development journey: shaping system specifications, exploring new technology, building and verifying prototypes, and preparing solutions for production. You will bring your experience and curiosity to a team that works closely across disciplines to solve complex technical challenges.
Your contribution will ensure our technology forms a perfect synthesis and creates a good sound when packed into our tiny hearing aids. This process takes you through system design development, prototyping and advanced platform integration technologies.
Whether you bring established PCB design experience or are ready to build further on a solid foundation, you will have knowledgeable colleagues around you and opportunities to contribute your perspective.
Welcome to GN Hearing
You will join the Electronic Integration team , part of Product Development in R&D. Our team consists of specialist engineers who collaborate across hardware, platform and product development. We value open technical discussions, practical problem-solving and sharing what we know. You will join colleagues who take their work seriously while maintaining an informal and supportive way of working.
Together with other teams, we define, design, implement and verify the ReSound programmable DSP platform, including 2.4 GHz Bluetooth Low Energy and Auracast™ wireless communication capabilities.
Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:
- Contribute to electronic design development of hearing aids and accessories, from prototype stage and design verification through to production, influencing architecture and design decisions
- Evaluate and implement new technologies in hearing-aid electronics
- Design and coordinate test verification activities to ensure reliable product performance
- Create and maintain documentation required for regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues to integrate platform technologies into compact hearing solutions
To perform well in the role, we imagine that you:
- Hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in electronic engineering, with a focus on signal integration or a related field
- Bring relevant experience in analog and baseband digital design
- Understand electronic systems design
- Can work through and enjoy complex technical questions and analytical problem solving
- May have experience with Cadence Allegro schematic tools
- Work well with others across technical disciplines
- Communicate proficiently in English
We pride ourselves on encouraging flexible work whenever possible. We trust our people to fulfill their responsibilities, to know when in-person collaboration is better than hybrid, and to be present when it is needed most.
We are focused on an inclusive recruitment process
All applicants will receive equal consideration for employment. As such, we encourage you to submit your CV without a photo to ensure an equal and fair application process.
Should you have any special requirements for the interview, please let the Hiring Manager know upon accepting the invitation to the interview.

Use the ‘APPLY’ link no later than November 27, 2026 . Applications are reviewed on a continuous basis, and we may close the position before the application deadline if we find the right candidate. We therefore encourage you to apply as soon as possible.
Feel free to only submit your up-to-date CV, including a few sentences outlining your motivation for applying.
