As part of the BA NA Quality Team, reporting to Product Line Quality Director, and being located and in teamship relation in the plant, you will run the job of

Field Quality Engineer

You will be the connection between Quality organization and Market via Customer and Consumer Service organization. You will become an expert for a range of our products, and you will initiate activities for constant improvements of quality performances of the products thus aiming to increase the positive experience of our consumers. You will be strongly involved in supporting the development of new products as well.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Collect and analyze consumers feedback, based on the data from company quality reporting systems,
• Cooperation with the Sales organization to collect and analyze market specific problems and initiate appropriate improvement activities,
• Follow / approve the closure of the actions defined to solve the quality issues,
• Collect and analyze safety risk data from the company database, initiate immediate corrective activities,
• Lead the factory quality reporting for the assigned areas
• Lead the return of defect components and appliances from the market, organize the detailed analyze, prepare the reports, and initiate improvement activities,
• Support the field test of the appliances,
• Deploy quality improvement tools in the improvement actions with the market service organization, (FMEA, 8D, QFD, etc.)
• Work with other departments, to identify and deploy best practice solutions in the factory.
• Follow EMS and ISO 9001/ 14001/45001/ 50001/ Green Spirit/Zero Waste Landfill company guidelines.

On regards responsibility and authority in matters of safety, hygiene, and the environment:

Reinforcing the hygiene and safety measures indicated, as well as their participation in the company's environmental and safety programs, such as but not limited to:

Comprehension of the plant’s environmental policy, including the established environmental goals, knowing, and identifying the environmental aspects and impacts on the area or process, focusing on continuous improvement and keeping operational goals, identifying, and segregating chemical residues and materials; Environmental certifications; The health, hygiene, safety and energy saving programs that are carried out in the manner determined or requested to participate.

Ensure that in your supervisory activities in the process you are aware and adequately execute your operational controls that ensure good energy performance in your activity/operation, report failures that affect energy efficiency or compromise the use of energy, fuels and natural resources in machinery, equipment or devices, and also ensure that monitoring is assigned to prevent recurrence in the process. In the environmental issue, to carry out and ensure that an adequate segregation of the waste generated and existing in the area is carried out in its process, as well as report events that directly or indirectly affect sustainability.

You will have the authority to delegate actions that commit to a third party and also with a sustainability issue (in compressed air, water, natural gas, fuel and electric energy), waste management and control of emissions to the environment aligned with the procedures and requirements that the organization defines.

You will participate in activities that are entrusted to you, such as courses, workshops, auditoriums, projects, etc., on sustainability issues.

You will have the responsibility of ensuring that the quality processes/projects receive an evaluation by the sustainability area, as well as the other required areas, as applicable, as well as the correction of anomalies or conditions that impact the sustainability metrics.

On regards the authority, all employees have the authority to stop processes, operations or activities that present a risk in terms of safety, hygiene, and the environment, and that could result in an accident or serious event, as well as impact on the environment.

Given the sensitivity of a decision of this type on regards the affectation that it represents, it is requested and recommended to have an objective and common-sense justification.
Roles and responsabilities (ISO 45001, 14001, 9001, 50001): Follow operational procedures related to Quality, Environmental, Energy, Safety and

Health Management Systems & report any problems that affect or represent a risk to product quality, environmental risk and/or safety to leaders and/or supervisors. your area.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• University degree in Engineering (or equivalent)
• It is a plus the understanding of the manufacturing process as well as a good practical understanding of product development
• It is a plus the knowledge of components and product functionality (knowledge of possible defects of the products)
• Fluent English and good local language (where you are located)
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience within Quality (ideally in Field/Market Quality)
