Join us in our quest to solve tomorrow's challenges and innovate our future!
What will you be doing in this role?
As a Fluid Power Systems & Mechanical Engineer, you will combine hydraulic and fluid power engineering with mechanical design. Your work will range from developing technical solutions to producing the engineering documentation needed to turn those solutions into reliable products and equipment.

- 3D modelling and preparation of manufacturing-ready 2D drawings
- Development of technical solutions within our product portfolio
- Creation and maintenance of BOMs and technical documentation
- Troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues
- Supporting product improvements and engineering changes
- Providing technical input to quotations and sales activities
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone with a strong interest in developing practical engineering solutions and building competence across both fluid power and mechanical engineering.
Furthermore, we hope that you enjoy working hands‑on with design, models, and drawings and are up for taking a proactive and solution‑oriented approach to technical challenges.
We believe your educational background is within mechanical engineering or similar.
We think the following capabilities are particularly important:
- Knowledge of hydraulic/fluid power systems and the ability to apply fundamental principles to engineering problems
- Good understanding of mechanical design principles
- Ability to work with 3D CAD for mechanical design and modelling
- Ability to produce and interpret 2D engineering drawings
- Ability to approach technical problems systematically and develop practical solutions
- Motivation to learn and develop competence across both mechanical and fluid power engineering
- Ability to communicate technical information effectively in English, both spoken and written
Knowledge of Creo, AutoCAD, and SimulationX would be an advantage, but is not essential.
Should you not tick all these boxes, we still encourage you to apply – but we are looking for you who can tell us in the application how your work experiences and education is of relevance for this role, why you would be a great fit, and what your most notable and relevant strengths are.
It is an important part of your application to address these topics in your cover letter.
What can you expect in return?
Besides the typical things, such as flexible working hours, pension and insurance, subsidized and varied lunch menu, free parking, and a great company culture, we can also offer you:
- A diverse and inclusive work environment where people are genuinely helpful, and where you are encouraged to develop your skills and share your knowledge
- An opportunity to contribute to and influence the future of HMH
- A positive attitude towards your career development in a company who values internal mobility and continuous development
