About the role

Graduate Site Engineer
Location: East Anglia Region
Business Area: @one Alliance
Start Date: September 2027
Salary: dependent on experience and skills

Start your career where you can make a difference

Within Anglian Water's @one Alliance, we bring together eight leading organisations to deliver Anglian Water’s capital investment programme across the East of England. Together, we’re delivering projects to help protect and improve one of the UK’s most important resources - water.

Love being out and about rather than sitting behind a desk?
This is a largely site based role. You'll spend much of your time on construction sites, treatment works and infrastructure projects across the East of England, working alongside experienced engineers to deliver some of the region's most important water projects.

As a Site Engineer you'll see projects being built from day one. You'll work directly with designers and project teams, helping solve engineering problems in real time and gaining practical experience that many graduates don't see until much later in their careers.

You’ll be supported throughout your development, with opportunities to build your technical knowledge, gain professional experience and work towards your longer-term career goals.

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for graduates who are curious, collaborative and keen to build a career in Site Engineering and who enjoy working with people, solving problems and learning new things.

You’ll need:

- A 2:2 degree or above in Mechanical or Civil Engineering

- Knowledge of CAD and BIM

- Knowledge of inter-related engineering disciplines

- To be able to work in an open and collaborative way– practice integrated working with all Alliance teams and the client

- Apply rigour to key projects and tasks that require accurate and timely delivery and decision making

- The ability to organise your workload and meet deadlines

- A collaborative approach and willingness to learn

- An interest in infrastructure, construction or the built environment

- A full UK driving licence and the ability to travel between sites across our region

We welcome applications from candidates outside the region who are willing and able to relocate or travel to Peterborough and the East Anglia Region.
