POSITION SUMMARY: Maintenance Generalist - Goodlettsville Case Ready Plant

Schedule/Hours:

Pay - Depends on skill level

As a Maintenance Generalist, you will work cross-functionally across all areas of our facility and play a key role in maintaining equipment performance and operational efficiency. Maintenance Generalists are essential to ensuring Team Member safety through proactive maintenance, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Provide maintenance support under moderate supervision to ensure the safe and effective operation of equipment and facility systems.

- Perform routine preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.

- Conduct emergency mechanical and electrical repairs as needed.

- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues involving mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

- Safely apply technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills to production equipment.

- Collaborate effectively with plant personnel to achieve operational and individual performance goals.

- Minimize downtime caused by equipment failure through timely repairs and preventive maintenance.

- Work overtime and weekends as required to support operational needs.

- Maintain and provide personal tools necessary to perform job duties.

- Basic computer skills required for logging maintenance information, processing work orders, and completing documentation.

- Ability to learn and utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

- Effective communication skills and basic math skills preferred.

- Basic math proficiency, including percentages, fractions, measurements, and calculations.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:  The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

- Must be able and willing to lift, push, and pull up to 75 pounds occasionally and up to 20 pounds frequently.

- Must be able and willing to stand on hard surfaces for up to 12 hours per shift.

- Must be able and willing to work in confined spaces and at elevated heights.

- Must be able and willing to walk, climb ladders, operate lifts, bend, stoop, and perform repetitive gripping, pushing, and pulling motions.

- Must be able and willing to perform frequent overhead work.

- Must be able and willing to work in varying temperature conditions ranging from -25°F to over 100°F, including occasional outdoor work.
