The Role

As an Infrastructure/Cloud Architect at Kyndryl, you will serve as the key technical leader uniting stakeholders—from customers, governance bodies, and project executives to delivery teams and vendors. From inception to delivery, you will drive the end-to-end lifecycle of robust cloud and infrastructure solutions, acting as the trusted subject matter expert who transforms complex client requirements into scalable, successful technical designs.

What you will do

- Engage with customers early in the project lifecycle to gather requirements and understand their unique business needs.

- Define, design, and architect comprehensive local, regional, and global hybrid infrastructure and cloud solutions.

- Act as the technical leader for implementation, guiding stakeholders across customers, governance, delivery teams, and third-party vendors.

- Leverage expertise across all major cloud platforms to architect scalable, secure, and reliable technical environments.

- Identify when and how to collaborate with other subject matter experts (SMEs) outside your direct wheelhouse.

- Navigate pre-existing technical limitations with creativity, flexibility, and innovative problem-solving.

- Drive multi-disciplinary IT projects from start to finish, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.

- Delight customers by successfully influencing, creating, and delivering high-impact technological solutions.

Required skills and experience

- 4+ years of experience focused on a Cloud Solution Architect role (Azure, GCP, or AWS).

- Understanding of hybrid infrastructure and cloud architecture with proven project experience.

- Cloud architecture and engineering support experience across local, regional, and global domains.

- Ability to effectively execute multiple IT projects and meet deadlines with limited supervision.

Preferred skills and experience

- Public cloud deployment and technical support experience (Azure, GCP, or AWS).

- Hands-on experience and skills with cloud technologies, including cloud landing zones, workload and application migration, and cloud-native security (Data & AI is a plus).

- Deep expertise in cloud solutions architecture and design with customer-facing and hands-on experience.

- More than one valid certification in any two public cloud and one enterprise technology (e.g., VMware virtualization, Red Hat, or networking & security portfolio).
