- Own end-to-end email execution for lifecycle, ad-hoc, and transactional messages, including scheduling (cadence and frequency), quality assurance testing to make sure messages render and deliver correctly, and working with the creative studio on copy and design
- Build and manage audience segments
- Work with internal teams and external partners to prioritize opportunities and get campaigns deployed
- Use multivariate testing to quickly test, iterate, and scale what works
- Track and report on lifecycle campaign performance, and share results and recommendations with the team and leadership
- Work with marketing analysts to find learnings and areas for growth
- Document the status of programs and hand off cleanly when the manager returns
Experience and Background:
- 5+ years in lifecycle marketing
- Deep experience across lifecycle channels (email, push, in-app), data management, execution, reporting, and lifecycle tools
- Experience building and running testing programs
- Experience with email service providers (MoEngage or Braze preferred)
- Intermediate HTML and CSS and AI coding experience
- Strong knowledge of email compliance and privacy rules (CAN-SPAM, GDPR)
- Understanding of how to use APIs for automation and personalization at scale
- Analytical and comfortable pulling insights from data
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced setting
- Willing to do hands-on execution as well as strategy
