Manager, Commodity APAC

JOB DESCRIPTION

Ø  Main Responsibilities: (หน้าที่ความรับผิดชอบ)
•  Develop and execute APAC commodity strategies for Trim & Plastics, aligned with regional purchasing and business objectives.
•  Deliver profit plan commitments, including material cost improvement, working-capital improvement, supplier rationalization, quality and other agreed purchasing metrics.
•  Maintain a weekly cost-saving roadmap and reconcile planned initiatives to actual monthly results.
•  Lead sourcing and supplier nomination activities in compliance with Adient purchasing, program and approval processes, ensuring competitive cost, quality, capacity and timing.
•  Lead supplier negotiations, commercial analysis and cost optimization using market intelligence, cost breakdowns, benchmarking and clean-sheet methods.
•  Partner with Engineering, Costing, Program Purchasing, Quality, Operations and Finance to improve program profitability through VA/VE, continuous improvement and global or regional sourcing.
•  Ensure continuity of supply across the APAC supplier base by identifying capacity, financial, operational and geopolitical risks and implementing mitigation and recovery plans.
•  Drive supplier performance and collaboration, including escalation and corrective action when commercial, quality, delivery or launch requirements are not met.
•  Leverage purchasing opportunities across countries, joint ventures, business units and programs to maximize economies of scale and reduce total landed cost.
•  Provide clear commodity reporting, recommendations and decision support to regional stakeholders and leadership.
