Mechanical Engineer

The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for supporting the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of plant equipment and production processes through the application of sound engineering principles, maintenance best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives. This position serves as a technical resource to Operations and Maintenance by providing hands-on support for equipment troubleshooting, asset reliability, maintenance strategies, process optimization, and capital improvements.

The Mechanical Engineer is expected to maintain a strong presence in the field and work closely with operators, technicians, contractors, and leadership to identify opportunities for improvement, resolve equipment and operational challenges, and drive sustainable business results. This role requires a practical, hands-on approach and the ability to balance day-to-day operational support with longer-term improvement initiatives.
