About the role

Location
Mehsana SMT Tube PU, India

Main Responsibilities :-

- Design and review mechanical systems for tube manufacturing machinery (pilger mills, furnaces, polishers, straighteners).

- Prepare detailed engineering specifications, BOMs, and layouts for procurement of stainless steel processing equipment.

- Perform stress analysis, FEA simulations, and CAD modeling (AutoCAD/SolidWorks) for custom modifications.

- Oversee vendor selection, factory acceptance tests (FAT), and delivery coordination from suppliers in India/China/Japan.

- Supervise onsite installation, alignment, trial runs, and commissioning of mechanical equipment.

- Conduct root cause analysis for mechanical issues and implement corrective actions.

- Collaborate with civil/structural teams for shed foundation and machinery foundation designs.

- Ensure compliance with ASME/ISO standards for pressure vessels and tube production lines.

Education Qualification :-

- BE in Mechanical Engineering

E xperience Required

- Should have minimum experience of 6 to 7 years in tube industries in the field of maintenance or Project
