Description of Task to be Performed:

Come join our growing team and make a difference every day! AnaVation is seeking a Cloud Developer to support Windows and Linux environments on AWS, develop and maintain scripts, and support DevOps automation. This role uses Jira and Confluence to track work and maintain technical documentation. This role will drive automation using DevSecOps best practices, guide application migration to the cloud, and ensure secure, resilient, and cost-optimized cloud solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

- Implement automation for cloud resources following DevSecOps best practices (CI/CD, infrastructure as code, automated testing, security scanning, etc.).

- Debug and troubleshoot cloud stacks and services across multiple environments.

- Patch and maintain Windows and Linux systems using AWS Systems Manager Patch Manager.

- Manage and maintain Atlassian Suite including Jira and Confluence.

- Analyze applications and workloads to determine cloud readiness and provide recommendations on migration, refactoring, and deployment strategies.

- Assess and recommend which platforms and applications can move, migrate, and/or be deployed into public, private, or hybrid cloud environments.

- Define and implement strategies for failure/recovery, business continuity, and disaster recovery in the cloud.

- Design, develop, and implement cloud-native applications; migrate existing on-premises applications to cloud platforms.

- Ensure high availability and uptime by designing resilient architectures and monitoring strategies.

This position requires a Top-Secret clearance with the ability to be on-site in Washington DC with no remote option.
