The role

Reporting to the Branch Manager, an opportunity has become available for a self-motivated and energetic person to join our busy Truckstops Service Department as our Operations Assistant/Class 5 Truck Driver.

In this position, you’ll be focused on picking up and delivering trucks to our customers and sub-contractors, site management for safe vehicle movements and vehicle grooming. You may also provide support in the general duties & COFs of the service department as needed.

About you

To be successful in this role you will:

- hold a Class 5 license with experience driving a range of trucks

- ideally have a DG license

- have excellent verbal communication skills for face-to-face and phone conversations

- understand what outstanding customer service should be and deliver that service every time

- have a can-do attitude with the ability to jump in and help the wider team as needed

- have a positive attitude, a team mentality, and great sense of humour

This is potentially ideal for an experienced truck driver looking to spend more time at home and work local.
