We're looking for an experienced Partsperson to join our team in Gove to ensure the safe, accurate and timely supply of parts and materials that keep our customers and operations moving. This is a Permanent, Monday to Friday role working 38 hours per week .

What you'll be doing

As a Partsperson at Hastings Deering, you will:

- Keep parts moving – pick, pack, store and dispatch inventory while maintaining stock accuracy and achieving operational targets.

- Support warehouse operations – assist with stocktakes, consumable ordering, administration and continuous improvement activities.

- Deliver outstanding service – provide timely and professional support to both internal and external customers.

- Maintain inventory accuracy – ensure parts and materials are correctly receipted, stored and recorded within company systems.

- Champion safety – follow all health, safety and environmental procedures to support a Zero Harm workplace.

- Drive operational excellence – contribute to efficient warehouse performance and uphold Hastings Deering's reputation for quality and reliability.

What you'll need:
A successful teammate will have experience in:

- Warehouse experience that counts – previous experience in a busy warehouse, stores or parts environment.

- Customer-focused mindset – strong communication skills and a genuine commitment to customer service.

- Confident with systems – intermediate computer skills and the ability to accurately manage inventory transactions.

- Forklift licence advantage – a current forklift licence is highly desirable.

- Parts knowledge a bonus – familiarity with CAT products, parts and services will be highly regarded.

- Organised and self-motivated – able to manage priorities, work independently and meet deadlines.

- Team player – works effectively with others to achieve shared goals.

- Safety minded – committed to maintaining a safe workplace and supporting a Zero Harm culture.

- Housing – this position does not come with housing support.
