Performs a variety of direct and indirect patient care tasks to promote unit organization and smooth function under the direction of the Clinical Nurse Manager. Functions as a PCA and Unit Secretary.

Qualifications

- High School or equivalent Required

- Successful completion of Nurses Aide Program (or equivalent preparation) Required

- Prior experience as PCA/US Preferred

- Knowledge of medical terminology

- Ability to read, write and communicate in English

- Current Nurse Assistant certification (or the equivalent) Preferred

- Must complete Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training on a bi-annual basis Required
