The Payroll Tax Corrections Specialist is responsible for researching, resolving, and correcting prior-period payroll tax discrepancies to ensure accurate tax filings, payments, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of payroll tax processes, including identifying root causes, preparing necessary adjustments and amended returns, and resolving outstanding tax issues. Working closely with internal teams, external agencies, and other stakeholders, this individual plays a key role in maintaining tax accuracy, minimizing compliance risks, and ensuring timely resolution of payroll tax matters.
