Planner Apprentice

Job Description

To support the Planning & Project Controls team in preparing, updating, monitoring, and reporting project schedules for Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication, Manufacturing, and EPC projects while gaining practical experience in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and project execution processes.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Assist senior planners in preparing and maintaining project schedules using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.

- Support the development of Level 1, Level 2, Level 3, and Level 4 schedules.

- Update schedule progress based on inputs received from Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Project teams.

- Help collect and compile project progress data for schedule monitoring.

- Assist in preparing look-ahead schedules and weekly planning reports.

- Learn Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) development and schedule coding practices.

- Support baseline schedule preparation and revision control activities.

- Track daily and weekly project activities against planned schedules.

- Support generation of planning reports using Excel, Power BI, and Primavera P6.

- Maintain project planning records, progress logs, and tracking sheets.

- Learn the Engineering execution process and engineering deliverable workflow.

- Support tracking of engineering deliverables, procurement activities, manufacturing, and fabrication progress.
