Introduction
The incumbant will be an individual contributor for the GLOBALFOUNDRIES IP Engineering team in Hsinchu and will participate in the development of high-performance compute processor IP products.

This role will primarily contribute domain expertise in planning, execution, and delivering in technical biz engagements, product developments, and talent upskills to ensure solid quality of delivery and efficient teamwork collaboration across multiple sites and functions.

Responsibilities

- To work under proper supervision and coaching with efficient teamwork in one function unit at a time from initiation to signoff and delivery.

- Participating in detailed work plans and technical specifications for the involved function, supporting project execution, sharing technical knowledge, promoting execution discipline, and contributing to improving team capability in process and methodology.

- Selective hands-on engagement & ownership in architecture analysis, micro-architecture, logic design and implementation, formal verification, simulation verification, engineering flows, as well as signoff and delivery processes.

- Collaborate with cross-functions and/or cross-sites team in execution of other technical matters such as technical customer engagement, methodology development, quality improvement, product delivery, as well as development system initiatives and system bring-up in order to support broader scopes in business operations .

Required Qualifications

- Master’s or PhD degree in Electronics Engineering or Computer Science related majors

- Academic researches, projects, or studies in digital frontend design, implementation, verification, validation, or analytic modeling or profiling for computational technologies

- Programming experience in System Verilog, C/C++, Python, Perl, or other scripting languages

- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to learn new technologies and methodologies quickly

- Ability to understand technical specifications and translate requirements into engineering solutions

- Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to take ownership of assigned tasks while continuously developing technical expertise

- Internship experience, research publications, or technical achievements demonstrated in relevant domains are highly desirable
