Group Summary:
The Magna Exteriors portfolio of products includes access systems such as liftgates, exterior trim, modular systems, front-end modules including fascia, active aerodynamic systems and other lightweight structural components for automotive, commercial truck and other industrial markets.

Job Responsibilities:

JOB SUMMARY
This position reports directly to the Production Manager and is responsible for the general and specific job duties as described below:

QUALIFICATIONS NECESSARY TO DO THE JOB
·         Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or business field of study. Five years work related experience may be substituted in lieu of degree. Work experience combined with current schooling towards degree will be considered.
·         Implementation knowledge of OSHA industry health and safety regulations.
·         Operational knowledge of management information systems, use of personal computers and application software.
·         Extensive manufacturing management experience in a high volume, dynamic environment.
·         Demonstrated organizational, communication, problem solving and people skills.

MAIN DUTIES
·         Direct Production team in their efforts to achieve all Key Operational Indicators by participating on a daily basis in team meetings and offering ideas/suggestions.
·         Supervise production activities through strong leadership, communication, motivation and direction of employees to ensure product quality and delivery.
·         Train team leaders and members in developing teamwork skills and team oriented activities in a positive working environment.
·         Coordinate the utilization of facilities, equipment, materials and employees to meet Key Operational Indicators.
·         Track time sheets and attendance records and ensure that all performance reviews are completed in a timely manner.
·         Supervise Overtime Equalization to ensure that it is fairly administrated
·         Coordinate staffing needs and ensure that all personnel issues are dealt with in a timely manner.
·         Ensure strict compliance to all TS 16949 procedures.
·         Participate in the advanced product quality planning activities for the development of Process Flows, PFMEA’s, Control Plans and Work Guidance’s.
