About the role

Mō te tūranga | About the role

We’re looking for an experienced Project Manage r to join our South Island team and lead delivery across a strong pipeline of heavy civil infrastructure work.

While you’ll initially play a key role on Fulton Hogan’s wind farm project in Amberley, this is only one part of the bigger picture. The real focus of this role is leading complex civil structures work, with future projects expected to include a stronger mix of reinforced concrete, bridge-style structures, and water infrastructure across the South Island.

This is a hands-on role with real responsibility. You’ll be leading work with complexity across heavy civil delivery, logistics, multiple work fronts, subcontractor coordination, and structural construction. We need someone who can keep the big picture in view while staying close enough to the detail to make smart calls when plans shift.

The location scope adds to the opportunity. With projects coming up in Picton, Wānaka and Timaru, we’re looking for someone who is flexible and open to travel outside the wider Christchurch area. If you enjoy variety, like working across different locations, and want to help shape a growing pipeline of meaningful infrastructure work, this role will keep you challenged in all the right ways.

Wind farm experience would be nice to have, but it is not the main thing. We’re far more interested in someone with strong experience in civil structures, particularly bridges, reinforced concrete, and large-scale infrastructure-style delivery.

Experience in water infrastructure would also be highly valued. If you have not worked in that space yet, you’ll get exposure to it as this pipeline grows.

If you’re ready to bring your structures experience into a role with momentum and do Good Work that helps build what’s next, this could be the role for you.
