Project Manager (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

- Take overall responsibility for the successful planning and delivery of complex customer projects with regard to schedule, cost, quality, and performance
- Act as the primary interface between customers, suppliers, subcontractors, internal stakeholders, and senior management
- Define and align project objectives, strategies, and technical requirements in close cooperation with customers and company leadership
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource plans while ensuring on-time project delivery
- Build, lead, and develop cross-functional project teams, fostering effective collaboration and high performance
- Coordinate internal and external project partners, including the selection and management of subcontractors
- Identify, assess, and proactively manage project risks and opportunities while driving effective change management processes
- Provide regular project controlling, status reporting, and transparent communication to all relevant stakeholders

Your Qualifications

- Successfully completed degree in an engineering discipline such as aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, or a comparable field
- Several years of experience in project management, ideally within the space, aerospace, or other high-technology industries, including the leadership of complex technical projects
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools combined with a solid understanding of relevant standards, processes, and commercial aspects
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to balance technical, schedule, cost, and quality requirements effectively
- Outstanding communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with confidence in interacting with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
- Proven leadership experience and the ability to motivate, develop, and guide cross-functional teams toward successful project delivery
- Structured, solution-oriented, and proactive working style combined with strong decision-making skills, customer focus, and a business-minded approach
- Willingness to travel regularly, both nationally and internationally
