About the role

The Allegro team is united by a clear purpose—advancing technologies that make the world safer, more efficient, and more sustainable. With over 30 years of experience in semiconductor innovation, we bring that purpose to life across every part of the business—from breakthrough product development and customer success to how we show up for each other and the communities we serve.

The Opportunity
Allegro MicroSystems Phils. Inc. is hiring a Quality Control Inspector to join the Test Quality Control section of our Test Production department. Reporting to the Test Quality Control Supervisor (Job Grade D1-D3), you will perform in-line and offline electrical testing, mechanical and visual inspection, and documentation checks on production samples — from the start of test production through backend — to ensure every lot meets our quality standards before it moves forward.
What You Will Do
As a Quality Control Inspector, you will:

- Perform in-line and offline electrical testing on production lots (PDIP, SOIC, PLCC, TSSOP, QSOP, QFN and other package types), verifying test programs, sample AQLs, and correlation units against the Lot Traveler/CSUS.

- Conduct mechanical and visual inspection (MVI) of samples, tape, reels, and top-mark branding against Lot Traveler and 802155 specifications, escalating defects via Mechanical Visual Inspection Failure Analysis (MVIFA) reports.

- Complete documentation checks — quantities, retained samples, PBFT results, ST/DL sample submissions, and barcode compliance — before releasing lots to packing.

- Log every test, inspection, and transaction in the CAMSTAR system, and issue Non-Quality Deviation (NQD) reports to production when checks fail.

- Verify machine set-up with the support group before each run, and flag anomalies or downtime immediately to your Supervisor-on-duty.

- Follow work instructions and SOPs precisely, maintain 5S and ESD compliance, and keep your station free of stray or mixed units.

- Hand off clear shift endorsements to incoming QC, and be available for overtime when staffing needs require it.

What You Will Bring
You're a strong fit if you have:

- College level education or completion of a two-year course.

- Ability to follow standard operating procedures and detailed work instructions.

- Strong attention to detail and a highly organized approach to repetitive, precision tasks.

- Comfort working independently as well as collaboratively across production, logistics, and quality teams.

- Willingness to complete required onboarding (New Employee Orientation Program) and process/product training, and to become certified on your assigned workstation.
