About the role

You’ll act as a trusted advisor, building long-term relationships with both doctors and healthcare clients. With the support of a dedicated admin and operations team, you’ll focus on what you do best: relationship building, providing solutions, and delivering results.

You will:

- Qualify Senior doctors and consult with them to align their goals with the right locum opportunities across New Zealand's hospitals and health services.

- Collaborate with healthcare organisations  to understand their current and future workforce needs, helping build better healthcare systems.

- Strategically match candidates with job opportunities.

- Negotiate and finalise offers and agreements between clients and doctors.

- Guide doctors and clients through notice periods, relocation and onboarding, through to start date and beyond.

- Deliver exceptional customer experiences and go above and beyond for both clients and candidates.

Our Ideal Solutions Specialist

You might come from an agency recruitment, healthcare, or sales background ...or all three. Either way, you’re confident, curious, and highly motivated to build a thriving portfolio in a fast-moving space. You’re highly organised, proactive, and comfortable picking up the phone and having credible conversations with senior doctors and hospital executives.

You’ll have:

- Proven experience in agency recruitment with a strong track record (bonus if in healthcare or medical staffing)

- Confidence engaging with senior doctors and executive leadership within hospitals. You don’t need direct experience at this level, but you do need to be able to have those conversations

- A highly organised approach, with the ability to manage multiple candidates, clients and deadlines at once

- A proactive approach, knowing that success comes from making the call and not waiting for opportunities to come to you, and you’re not afraid to jump on the phone

- A performance-driven mindset of ownership, persistence, optimism, and resilience

- Strong business development skills, calling clients to ascertain their recruitment needs

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and listening skills with a consultative approach

- Confidence managing a phone-based client portfolio across multiple stakeholders

- Strong track record of meeting and exceeding placement, activity, and revenue KPIs in a fast-paced, target-driven environment

- A passion for making a difference in people’s lives
