Duties:
- Assess, treat and care as prescribed for patients with breathing disorders
- Assume primary responsibility for respiratory therapies, including the supervision of respiratory therapy technicians
- Initiate and conduct therapeutic procedures; maintain patient records; and select, assemble, check and operate equipment
- Successfully collaborate and initiate coordination of respiratory services with other resident services to ensure the continuity of the resident’s total regimen of care
- Complete, review, and ensure all respiratory therapy notes and charting are informative and descriptive of the respiratory care services being provided and that response to care is documented
Qualifications:
- Must possess a current Respiratory Therapist license issued by the state
