About the role

Key Responsibilities

- Design, build, test, and deploy robust software applications tailored for complex financial platforms.

- Maintain and enhance existing software applications to optimize runtime performance, throughput, and functionality.

- Conduct thorough code reviews, technical debugging, and proactive performance tuning to guarantee enterprise-grade software reliability.

- Partner closely with technology product leads and global business stakeholders to analyze requirements and engineer strategic technical solutions.

- Guide junior engineering staff and effectively manage multiple parallel streams of delivery.

- Stay at the forefront of emerging technologies, industry trends, and modern developer tools to drive continuous platform innovation.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Minimum of 6 years of relevant software engineering experience, preferably within a financial services or trading environment.

- Advanced hands-on coding experience with Java and SQL operating within a Linux environment.

- Proven experience architecting and maintaining large-scale distributed systems.

- Solid experience designing, implementing, and automating complex test scenarios.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a highly quantitative field.

- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, paired with a collaborative approach to code reviews and architectural design.
