Sales Incentives Analyst
Location(s)
Krakow
Job Description
Position Summary
The Commercial Operations Analyst – SIP Data & Support joins PerkinElmer's GPP team, which administers the Sales Incentive Plans (SIP) for more than 1,300 participants worldwide. The Senior SIP Analyst owns the team's data end to end. This role supports that work and learns it in depth, becoming the trained backup for the SIP data process so that it never depends on a single person.
Based in Europe, you will also be the in-time-zone point of contact for EMEA participant tickets, giving sales teams faster answers during their working day. Data skills are the core of the role. Experience with Salesforce, CPQ, automation, or process improvement is a strong plus and will give you room to contribute more widely across Commercial Operations.
Hybrid working model, Krakow, Quattro Business Park (3days office)
Key Responsibilities
Indicative split of time; this will shift with the quarterly incentive calendar.
1. SIP Data Support & Backup
- Work alongside the Senior SIP Analyst, who owns the end-to-end SIP data process, and learn it step by step: quota maintenance, joiner/mover/leaver updates, participant and territory data, and the weekly data refresh and load into the incentive compensation platform
- Become the trained backup for the SIP data process, able to run defined steps during absences and peak periods following documented procedures
- Assist with data tickets and defects, investigating crediting and attainment discrepancies across SAP order/revenue data, Workday employee data, and the incentive platform
- Run data quality checks and reconciliations ahead of each quarterly close, calculation, and payout cycle
- Help document and maintain the SOPs and training playbook for SIP data processes
2. SIP Participant Support
- Handle incentive-related tickets from SIP participants and managers — plan questions, attainment and crediting queries, and data corrections — within agreed service levels
- Triage tickets by priority, escalating payout-impacting items ahead of payroll cut-offs and routing data issues to the Senior SIP Analyst where needed
- Provide coverage for the ticket queue during colleague absences and peak periods
- Spot recurring ticket themes and feed them back as fixes, FAQ updates, or process changes
3. Additional Contributions, Based on Experience
- Where you have the skills, help reduce manual work in the SIP process, e.g., automating data checks, workflows, or recurring reports
- Support Salesforce (SFDC) and CPQ users and Commercial Operations projects where extra capacity is needed
Qualifications
Required
- 4+ years of experience in a data-focused role in sales operations, commercial operations, sales compensation, finance, or similar
- Strong data analysis skills: advanced Excel (lookups, pivots, Power Query or equivalent) and comfort working with large datasets from multiple systems
- High attention to detail and a methodical approach to reconciling data and tracing issues to root cause
- Clear written and verbal communication in English, with the ability to explain data and rules to non-technical sales users
- Based in Europe, with the ability to support EMEA business hours and occasional overlap with the Americas
Strong Plus
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce (SFDC)
- Experience building automations or data workflows (e.g., Alteryx, Databricks, SQL, Python, Power Automate, Power BI)
- Demonstrated process improvement experience — e.g., mapping a process, removing manual steps, and measuring the result
- Experience with incentive compensation management platforms (e.g., Forma, Varicent, Xactly, SAP SuccessFactors Incentive Management)
- Familiarity with SAP order/revenue data and Workday HR data
- Additional European language skills (e.g., German, French)
Key Competencies
- Analytical rigor and curiosity — wants to understand why the numbers are what they are
- Eager to learn a complex process from an expert and document it so others can follow
- Ownership and follow-through, especially against payroll and quarterly deadlines
- Customer-service mindset with sales participants, balanced with the discipline to apply plan rules consistently
- Discretion with confidential compensation data
