SAP PLM Consultant

SAP PLM Consultant needed!
Location: Stuttgart
Working model: Hybrid, with approximately 3 days per week on-site
Employment: Permanent, full-time
We are currently supporting an established international organisation in finding an experienced SAP professional to join its internal IT team.
Your Responsibilities

- Design, optimise and further develop SAP PLM processes, with a particular focus on material master data and engineering change management

- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into practical SAP solutions

- Analyse existing processes and data flows and identify opportunities for improvement

- Translate business requirements into clear functional and technical specifications

- Collaborate with teams across Production, Engineering, R&D and IT

- Support the implementation of projects and new solutions, including testing and user acceptance

- Contribute your SAP expertise to wider S/4HANA transformation activities

- Work with internal teams and external IT partners to deliver effective solutions

- Act as a knowledgeable business partner for stakeholders across different areas of the organisation
Your Profile

- 5+ years of professional experience in SAP PLM, particularly in the design and optimisation of PLM processes

- Strong knowledge of material master data and engineering change management

- Good knowledge of SAP MM

- Knowledge of SAP QM and/or SD is an advantage

- Experience with SAP S/4HANA is desirable

- ABAP development experience is a plus, but not essential

- Knowledge of SAP DMS and Workflow would be beneficial

- Strong understanding of both business processes and SAP solutions

- Experience working with multiple stakeholders and translating business requirements into technical solutions

- Strong communication and consulting skills

- Fluent German (C1+) and business-fluent English

- A structured, proactive and solution-oriented approach

- Comfortable taking ownership of projects and working collaboratively with different teams
