Job Title : Manager / Senior Manager - Civil, Structure & Architecture Engineering (CSA)
Entity : Evonik Specialty Silica India Pvt. Ltd, Jhagadia, Gujarat
Work Location : Jhagadia / Thane
Evonik Investment Project - Jhagadia, Gujarat

Purpose of the Position :
Management, planning and implementation of the civil discipline for projects of chemical plant construction with a medium investment volume and/or medium complexity, with overall responsibility for the civil discipline.

Key Responsibilities:

- Responsible for engineering work and technical implementation of investment projects for chemical plant construction in the specialized fields of construction, steel construction, civil and infrastructure work, architecture, and HVAC engineering.

- Responsible for coordination of preliminary, basic, and detailed planning

- Calculation, tendering, and awarding of construction and engineering services

- Preparation of technical specifications and bills of quantities

- Responsibility for costs, schedules, technical functionality, and project structuring

- Project management, planning work, quality assurance

- Execution and coordination of construction planning

- Scheduling

- Change management

- Monitoring and quality assurance of construction work on sites

- Interdisciplinary interface coordinatio n

Education & Experience required :

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the chemical industry, including substantial exposure to the planning, execution, and commissioning of greenfield projects.

- A qualification in Structural Engineering will be an added advantage.

Mobility Requirement: Candidate should be flexible and comfortable with relocation, as well as frequent travel between Thane and Jhagadia , as required for project execution and business needs.
