Safety / Environment
- Ensure safe work systems/procedures are always practiced and adhered to ensure duties are performed in a manner that minimizes risk to employees and contractors
- Always maintain exemplary standard of housekeeping, safe work, incident/accident reporting & active involvement in safety initiatives to ensure a safe work environment
- Understand and familiarize oneself with site Emergency evacuation procedures

Knowledge / Skills
- Plan, design and monitor grade control drilling programs to accurately delineate the orebody ahead of mining
- Provide and validate sectional interpretation of grade control data and produce validated polygon and wireframe models
- Regularly update the grade control block model
- Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reports on grade control drilling, ore reconciliation, mine geology and grade drivers
- Communicate geological, geotechnical and grade information to site technical, management and contractor personnel to assist with mine planning and achieving production targets
- Ensure ore is extracted to maximize recovery and minimize ore loss and dilution
