We're looking for a Senior Physiologist to join our Cardiology Diagnostics team at the brand new St Paul's Outpatients Centre, opening on 4th February 2027. As one of the first colleagues to join this exciting new venture, you'll have the opportunity to influence how a new diagnostic service develops, helping to shape pathways, patient experience and clinical excellence from the very beginning.
Located in the heart of London's financial district and moments from the iconic St Paul's Cathedral, St Paul's Outpatients Centre has been designed to provide fast access to specialist care within a modern, purpose built environment. Bringing together advanced diagnostics, consultant led services and leading technology, the centre represents an important investment in the future of outpatient healthcare and an exciting next chapter for HCA Healthcare UK.
As a Senior Physiologist, you'll play a key role in establishing and developing the non invasive cardiology service. Working closely with leading cardiologists and multidisciplinary teams, you'll help create a high performing service that delivers exceptional patient care from day one. Alongside your role at St Paul's Outpatients Centre, you'll also have the opportunity to work across our wider network, including London Bridge Hospital, one of the UK's leading private hospitals, providing exposure to a diverse and complex cardiology caseload while supporting your ongoing professional development.
This is an opportunity for an experienced physiologist who enjoys combining clinical expertise with service development, leadership and collaboration. If you're looking for a role where you can have a genuine influence on how a service grows and evolves, we'd love to hear from you.
At HCA UK we care about what you care about. We care that you want to deliver the very best care. We care that you want a career you can be proud of. We care that you want working conditions that support your health and wellbeing. Let us care for you and your career, the same way you do for others.
What you'll do:
• Perform and interpret a range of non invasive cardiac investigations including ECGs, ambulatory monitoring, exercise testing and echocardiography
• Play an active role in developing and embedding the non invasive cardiology service within the new St Paul's Outpatients Centre
• Support the delivery of high quality physiological services, ensuring accurate and timely diagnostic results
• Provide guidance and support to junior colleagues whilst contributing to training, quality improvement and governance initiatives
• Collaborate with cardiologists and multidisciplinary teams across St Paul's Outpatients Centre and London Bridge Hospital to deliver outstanding patient care
What you'll bring:
• Degree level qualification in Clinical Physiology or equivalent relevant experience
• Registration with RCCP, AHCS or equivalent professional body where applicable
• Significant experience undertaking a range of non invasive cardiac investigations
• A passion for service development and improving patient experience within a growing clinical environment
• Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
