About the role

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Vice President of Sales based in the United States.

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on sales executive to lead revenue growth and expand enterprise partnerships within the healthcare technology sector. In this role, you will combine individual sales leadership with team development, personally driving high-value deals while coaching and empowering sales professionals to exceed their targets. You will focus on building relationships with health systems, hospitals, and healthcare providers, demonstrating the value of innovative solutions that improve patient navigation and care outcomes. Working closely with executive leadership, Marketing, and Product teams, you will shape go-to-market strategies and establish scalable sales processes. You will also oversee forecasting, pipeline performance, and strategic negotiations to support sustainable business growth. This is an opportunity to influence commercial strategy while remaining directly involved in the most important sales opportunities.

Accountabilities:

- Own and consistently exceed individual sales quotas, with a primary focus on acquiring new health system and healthcare provider customers.

- Identify, develop, and close strategic enterprise opportunities, building strong relationships with key decision-makers across healthcare organizations.

- Lead, mentor, and develop the broader sales team, providing hands-on coaching, participating in prospect calls, and conducting regular deal reviews.

- Model effective sales techniques and best practices to improve team performance, strengthen sales capabilities, and support quota attainment.

- Develop, implement, and continuously refine the sales playbook, including value propositions, messaging, objection handling, negotiation strategies, and deal execution processes.

- Partner with Marketing and Product teams to align go-to-market priorities, sales initiatives, and product positioning with market opportunities.

- Oversee sales forecasting and maintain accurate pipeline visibility across the sales organization.

- Establish and optimize sales processes, CRM discipline, performance reporting, and operational standards to support scalable revenue growth.

- Represent the Sales function in executive leadership and board-level discussions, providing insights into pipeline health, revenue performance, and growth strategies.

- Support recruitment, onboarding, and expansion of the sales organization as business needs evolve.

- Act as a senior escalation point for complex negotiations, strategic accounts, and high-value enterprise opportunities.

- Collaborate with leadership to identify new market opportunities, improve commercial effectiveness, and strengthen the organization's competitive positioning.

Requirements:

- At least 10 years of professional experience in healthcare technology sales, with a demonstrated track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales quotas.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience leading, mentoring, and developing sales teams, ideally while maintaining personal sales targets and direct responsibility for closing deals.

- Proven experience selling enterprise solutions to health systems, hospitals, post-acute care organizations, or other healthcare providers.

- Strong understanding of healthcare purchasing processes and the ability to navigate complex relationships involving clinical, operational, financial, and executive stakeholders.

- Demonstrated success managing and closing complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales opportunities with long sales cycles and significant contract values.

- Excellent coaching, mentoring, and team development capabilities, with a genuine commitment to helping sales professionals grow and succeed.

- Strong financial and commercial acumen, including experience with deal modeling, ROI-based selling, pricing strategies, and business case development.

- Familiarity with formal sales methodologies such as Miller Heiman, Covey, or comparable structured enterprise sales frameworks.

- Strong forecasting, pipeline management, CRM utilization, and sales reporting skills.

- Ability to build effective sales strategies, establish repeatable processes, and drive accountability across a growing sales organization.

- Exceptional communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills, with the executive presence required to engage senior healthcare leaders.

- Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, high-growth, and high-autonomy environment.

- Nice to have: Experience with patient engagement, healthcare data analytics, readmission reduction, care transitions, or population health solutions.

- Nice to have: Previous experience in a startup or growth-stage SaaS company.

- Nice to have: Established relationships with health system C-suite executives, hospital leadership, or care management decision-makers.

Benefits:

- Competitive base salary, with the estimated amount determined according to professional experience.

- Comprehensive healthcare coverage, including medical, dental, and vision insurance.

- 401(k) retirement savings plan.

- Flexible paid time off (PTO).

- Fully remote working arrangement within the United States.

- Opportunity to lead commercial strategy and directly influence revenue growth in an evolving healthcare technology environment.

- Hands-on executive leadership role combining strategic decision-making, enterprise sales execution, and team development.

- Opportunity to work at the intersection of healthcare innovation, AI-driven insights, and patient-centered care solutions.

- Collaborative environment with opportunities to shape go-to-market strategies and build a growing sales organization.
