Maintenance & Vendor Coordination
- Coordinate on-ground operations with multiple internal teams throughout the shift.
- Coordinate with vendors and OEMs for incident management, preventive maintenance tracking, and supervision of maintenance activity.
- Prepare PM schedules for utility equipment and apply preventive and breakdown maintenance procedures.
- Log all maintenance activity and utilize CMMS (ServiceNow or equivalent) for operational tracking.
- Support energy management of electrical systems such as transformers and UPS, and analyze equipment performance to support operational reliability.
Shift Governance & Continuity
- Act as the single point of operational accountability for the facility during the assigned shift.
- Conduct structured shift handovers, documenting open issues, ongoing work, and pending approvals for the incoming shift.
- Ensure continuity of critical operations across shift transitions with no gaps in coverage or awareness.
- Maintain real-time visibility of all active maintenance, incidents, and vendor activity on-site.
Incident & Emergency Response
- Act as first responder to onsite emergencies, directing immediate corrective action.
- Escalate issues to external facility contractors, OEMs, and relevant stakeholders per defined escalation protocols.
- Prepare incident reports with root-cause detail and ensure timely closure tracking.
- Raise approval requests to management for procurement of goods/services required during the shift.
Compliance & Reporting
- Maintain records required to support internal and external audits, in line with statutory requirements for the site.
- Apply knowledge of compliance processes for relevant ISO certifications (QMS, ITSM, ISMS, BCMS, EnMS, EMS, OHSE).
- Coordinate effectively with internal teams and external customers, ensuring accurate and timely communication during both routine operations and emergencies.
- Contribute shift-level data and observations to support leadership reporting, SLA/KPI tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Graduate engineer in Electrical or Mechanical stream with 2–3 years' experience; OR Diploma engineer with 3–5 years' experience; OR ITI candidate with 8–10 years' experience, with strong experience in the electrical and mechanical field.
- Adequate exposure to Data Center or telecom equipment-related facility infrastructure.
- Experience handling large facilities with in-house substations and critical infrastructure.
