Hazendal Wine Estate is searching for a Spa and Wellness Therapist (paid hourly)

Seasonal Contract (4 months )

Our beauty Spa on our Estate are seeking for a skilled and customer-focused Beauty & Wellness Therapist to join our team (seasonal contract). The ideal candidate will be passionate about beauty and wellness, with a solid background in providing a range of beauty treatments. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality services while ensuring customer satisfaction and promoting a relaxing, hygienic, and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform a variety of beauty treatments such as:

- Facials

- Hair removal (waxing, threading, etc.)

- Manicures and pedicures

- Massages

- Skin treatments

- Eyebrow and eyelash treatments

- Basic hairstyling or hair treatments (if applicable)

- Consult with clients to understand their needs and recommend appropriate treatments.

- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the treatment rooms, tools, and workstations.

- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

- Upsell beauty products and services where appropriate.

- Stay updated with current trends, techniques, and products in the beauty industry.

- Maintain accurate records of treatments and client preferences.

- Build strong client relationships and ensure repeat business through excellent customer service.

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a beauty therapist or similar role.

- Relevant qualification or certification in beauty therapy or cosmetology.

- Strong knowledge of skin and body care treatments.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

- Customer-oriented mindset with a pleasant and professional demeanour.

- High standards of hygiene and cleanliness.

- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Preferred Skills :

- Knowledge of holistic therapies (e.g., aromatherapy, reflexology) is a plus.

- Sales experience in beauty products.

- Multilingual abilities are an advantage.

The new candidate will report directly to the Operations Manager
