Staff Mobile Core Signalling Engineer

Your Role
-Developing and maintaining Core Network services.
-Working with Diameter, SIGTRAN, SS7 and related signalling technologies.
-Supporting the onboarding of new connectivity partners and roaming -integrations.
-Troubleshooting complex signalling and connectivity issues.
-Designing resilient, highly available services.
I-mproving load balancing, rate limiting and traffic management capabilities.
-Driving cloud-native migration initiatives.
-Contributing to multi-region and disaster recovery designs.
-Analysing signalling incidents and performance bottlenecks.
-Developing overload protection and rate-limiting strategies.
-Improving observability, monitoring and operational readiness of network services.
-Reducing operational toil through automation.

What We Expect
-Strong background in mobile core networks.
-Telecom protocol testing and debugging.
-Experience with telecom vendors and roaming partners.
-Deep understanding of Diameter, SIGTRAN, SS7, GSM/LTE core concepts and roaming architectures.
-Experience with HLR, HSS, SMSC, STP, DRA and related components.
-Experience developing and maintaining network services.
-Ability to troubleshoot complex signalling and connectivity issues.
-Experience with load balancing, rate limiting and overload protection.
-Experience with monitoring, observability and incident analysis.
I-nterest in automation and reducing operational toil.
Nice to have
-5G Standalone Core experience.
-IoT connectivity experience.
-eSIM / SIM management platform experience.
-Experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native systems.
-Good AWS knowledge.
