Technical Product Owner

About the Role
Resmed is transforming its global Supply Chain planning capabilities to improve decision-making, responsiveness, resilience and continuity of patient supply.
We’re looking for a Technical Product Owner – Integrated Planning to lead the technology product across demand planning, supply planning and Integrated Business Planning (IBP).
This is a senior product leadership role spanning o9 Solutions, Oracle, planning data, integrations, analytics and enabling technologies. You’ll own the technical product roadmap, priorities and lifecycle, connecting business planning outcomes with scalable, compliant and supportable technology solutions.
Importantly, this role is broader than o9 alone. You’ll own how the end-to-end planning technology ecosystem comes together to deliver business and planning outcomes.

What You’ll Do
Integrated Planning Product Strategy & Roadmap

- Own the technical product vision, roadmap and priorities across demand planning, supply planning and IBP.

- Translate business outcomes into product scope, platform priorities, releases and sequenced delivery backlogs.

- Balance business value, planning effectiveness, risk, compliance and technical health when making product decisions.
Platform, Data & Integration Product Ownership

- Own product-level technology decisions and trade-offs across planning, ERP, enterprise data, integrations, master data and downstream analytics, partnering with Technical Leads and Architecture on solution design and engineering decisions.

- Define where capabilities should sit across o9, Oracle, upstream systems and data/integration services, maximizing standard functionality and limiting unnecessary customization.

- Ensure data quality, reconciliation, lineage and operational monitoring are designed into the end-to-end product.
Product Governance & Decision Rights

- Own and prioritize the technical product backlog across new capabilities, integrations, defects, data, technical debt and service improvements.

- Lead key technology, design and product trade-off decisions within architecture, security, quality and compliance guardrails.

- Assess product readiness and make go/no-go recommendations for releases.
Solution Delivery, Quality & Compliance

- Guide the product from discovery and design through build, integration, validation, deployment and transition to support.

- Hold internal teams, vendors and integration partners accountable for quality, performance and long-term supportability.

- Partner with Quality and validation teams to ensure appropriate change control, testing, auditability and data integrity.
Value Realization, Adoption & Planning Outcomes

- Partner with Business Product Owners to define adoption, planning outcomes and value-realization measures.

- Use product, data and service insights to drive continuous improvement and roadmap priorities.

- Enable standardized global planning processes while supporting justified business or regulatory variation.
Product Lifecycle, Service & Vendor Management

- Own the long-term product lifecycle, including platform health, upgrades, technical debt, environments and support models.

- Maintain product accountability through implementation, hypercare and steady-state operations.

- Remain accountable for the health, supportability and service outcomes of the product in production, working with application support and managed service teams that lead day-to-day operational execution.

- Lead strategic technology relationships with o9, Oracle-related providers, system integrators and managed service partners.
Innovation & Product Leadership

- Evaluate developments in AI-enabled forecasting, decision intelligence, scenario planning, optimization and advanced planning technologies for the product roadmap.

- Build a collaborative product culture across business, architecture, engineering, data, quality, support and delivery partners.

- Champion global standards, reuse, product thinking and evidence-based decision-making.

What You Bring

- Extensive experience leading enterprise technology products or platforms, delivering enterprise technology solutions across product ownership, business systems, solution design or technical leadership.

- Proven experience owning an enterprise technology product through implementation, deployment and ongoing lifecycle management.

- Deep understanding of enterprise planning is essential. Experience with o9 Solutions is highly desirable, but we value strong planning-product judgement across platforms such as o9, Kinaxis, SAP IBP or Blue Yonder above configuration expertise in any single product.

- Experience translating business outcomes into technical product roadmaps, backlogs and delivery priorities.

- Strong understanding of advanced planning platforms and their integration with ERP, data and enterprise technology landscapes.

- Understanding of Oracle ERP or comparable platforms, including planning integrations, master data and reconciliation.

- Experience working with vendors, system integrators and managed service providers.

- Experience in a regulated manufacturing, medical device, life sciences or comparable quality-controlled environment.

- Strong stakeholder engagement, influencing and decision-making skills.

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations or a related discipline.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with o9 Solutions, or a comparable platform such as Kinaxis, SAP IBP or Blue Yonder.

- Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle Cloud ERP or related supply chain capabilities.

- Experience scaling demand planning or IBP capabilities across regions or business units.

- Knowledge of forecasting, constrained supply planning, scenario modelling, allocation and exception-based planning.

- Experience with cloud data platforms, APIs, integration and planning analytics.

- Understanding of computer system validation, risk-based testing, change control and data integrity.

- Product, Agile, supply chain or planning certification, or a relevant advanced degree.
