Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Perform dimensional inspection of cutting tools, components, and finished products as per drawings and quality standards.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and inspection plans to ensure product conformity.
- Conduct in-process and final quality inspections using measuring instruments such as Vernier Callipers, Micrometres, Height Gauges, and other precision tools.
- Record inspection results, prepare quality reports, and maintain quality-related documentation.
- Identify product defects, deviations, and non-conformities, and support corrective and preventive actions.
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure adherence to quality requirements and process standards.
Profile & Requirements:
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum experience in a manufacturing environment; experience in cutting tools, precision engineering, or metalworking industry is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Basic knowledge of quality control methods, inspection techniques, and measuring instruments.
