This is a fantastic development opportunity for someone looking to broaden their commercial, project management, and operational experience. It would suit an individual with a background in retail, buying, marketing, trade planning, or business administration who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and coordinating multiple projects simultaneously.
You will work closely with buyers, event managers, marketing teams, and key stakeholders across the business to support the successful planning and delivery of customer events and commercial campaigns. Reporting to the Lead Events Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring activities are executed on time, communications are clear, and performance is effectively tracked and reported.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the planning and execution of seasonal events, promotional campaigns, and business initiatives across all channels and formats.

- Own and maintain event critical paths, ensuring all milestones, deliverables, and deadlines are tracked and communicated to stakeholders.

- Coordinate Point of Sale (POS) briefing processes, ensuring requirements are clearly captured, communicated, and delivered accurately and on time.

- Act as a central point of contact between commercial, marketing, store operations, and customer teams to support event delivery.

- Produce and distribute regular sales, performance, and event reporting to provide insight into campaign effectiveness and support decision-making.

- Support the creation and maintenance of event planning documentation, trackers, timelines, and communication plans.

- Monitor event activity throughout delivery, proactively identifying risks, challenges, or opportunities and escalating where required.

- Coordinate post-event reviews, capturing key learnings, performance outcomes, and recommendations for future activity.

- Ensure all event communications, promotional mechanics, and customer-facing materials are completed accurately and meet legal and compliance requirements.

- Provide wider administrative and project support across the commercial planning and events team as required.
About You

- Experience in retail, buying, category management, marketing, trade planning, events, or a commercial support role.

- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.

- Excellent attention to detail and confidence handling administrative processes and reporting.

- Experience managing critical paths, project plans, or campaign timelines.

- Comfortable analysing sales and performance data and turning insights into clear, actionable recommendations.

- Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across a matrix organisation.

- Proactive and able to work independently while contributing effectively within a wider team.

- Competent in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other business reporting tools.

- Resilient and confident managing competing stakeholder requirements in a fast-paced commercial environment.

- A passion for delivering outstanding events and campaigns that create a great customer experience
