Warehouse Specialist

At Johnson Controls, we're looking for a Warehouse Specialist to help optimize warehouse capacity, inventory management, and material flow within our manufacturing operations. This role will play a key part in ensuring efficient warehouse performance while supporting production and business growth.

What You Will Do

- Develop short- and long-term warehouse capacity plans.

- Monitor warehouse utilization and identify potential capacity constraints.

- Optimize warehouse layouts, storage utilization, and material flow.

- Plan daily receiving, storage, replenishment, and shipping activities.

- Track and improve warehouse KPIs, including inventory accuracy and space utilization.

- Coordinate inventory counting activities and maintain accurate system data.

- Collaborate with Production, Planning, Procurement, and Logistics teams to ensure seamless material flow.

- Lead continuous improvement initiatives within warehouse operations.

- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.

How You Will Do It

- Use SAP, WMS, and data analysis tools to support planning and decision-making.

- Apply inventory management principles and continuous improvement practices.

- Work cross-functionally to proactively solve operational challenges and drive efficiency.

- Leverage data-driven insights to improve warehouse performance and support business objectives .

What We Look For
Required

- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

- 5+ years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain operations.

- Experience in warehouse capacity planning, inventory management, and warehouse optimization.

- Proficiency in SAP and/or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Preferred

- Experience in Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement methodologies.

- Team leadership or project management experience.

- Good command of English.
