About Expedock

We are a tech-enabled workforce augmentation platform leveraging top 1% offshore talent & cutting edge technology to enable businesses to unlock their full potential
Who We Need
We are seeking a sharp and adaptable Web QA Engineer for an intensive 2-month project focused on delivering high-quality manual testing for a rotating suite of web applications. In this role, you will be the critical link between testing and development, tasked with writing robust test cases and filing impeccable, highly detailed bug reports. We are looking for someone who prides themselves on uncovering edge cases and writing issues that are so well-documented, well-prioritized, and easy to reproduce that an engineer can fix them without needing to ask a single follow-up question.
What You'll Do

- Rapid Onboarding: Learn and master a completely new type of web application each week, ranging from creative platforms to complex enterprise management systems.

- Thorough Testing: Execute manual and exploratory testing across diverse user flows, browsers, and edge cases to uncover hidden defects.

- Test Case Creation: Design and document structured, comprehensive test cases for core features and critical user journeys on each new platform.

- Exceptional Bug Reporting: File crystal-clear, actionable bug reports complete with exact reproduction steps, expected vs. actual outcomes, visual evidence (screenshots or recordings), and accurate severity levels.

- Issue Investigation: Dig into the root cause of front-end failures using built-in browser debugging utilities to provide engineering teams with rich, actionable context.

What you need

- Proven professional experience in software testing, ideally with a formal QA title in your work history.

- Outstanding adaptability and the capacity to quickly learn and navigate a wide variety of web interfaces at scale.

- Strong proficiency in using standard browser developer tools (such as inspecting elements, monitoring network activity, and reviewing console logs) to investigate issues.

- Excellent English proficiency, with strong written communication skills.

- A meticulous eye for detail and a proven track record of writing clear, highly actionable bug reports.

- Nice to have: Prior experience or familiarity with modern web automation frameworks and tooling such as Playwright and Selenium.
